What do we do on our visit to the hive?
Get ready to immerse yourself in an educational and entertaining experience that will unfold as follows:
- Preparation and safety: The journey begins with the preparation of the equipment. We will provide you with the necessary beekeeping clothing, including protective suits and gloves, to ensure your safety as you enter the fascinating world of bees.
- Introductory talk: Before visiting the apiary, you will participate in an introductory talk. Here, we will cover the basics about bees, adapting to the level of knowledge of each group. This talk is an excellent opportunity to resolve any doubts and prepare for the apiary experience.
- Visit to the apiary: Then we will go to the heart of the action: the apiary. Here, we will guide you through the structure and functioning of a beehive, observing closely the daily activities of the bees. You will learn about their life cycle, nectar collection and honey production.
- Discover the products of the hive: This is an exciting time where we will explore the various products of the hive. Conditions permitting, we will take a close look at propolis, pollen and royal jelly, as well as honey, and discuss their properties and uses.
- Honeys and meads tasting: We ended with a delicious tasting of honeys and meads. You will be able to taste three of our best-selling varieties of honey, as well as our exclusive meads. This is an opportunity to appreciate the diversity and richness of flavors offered by beekeeping.

- Schedule: The activity has a duration of approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, starting at 10:00h and concluding around 12:00h-12:30h.
- Duration: The total duration of the experience is approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the world of bees without rushing.
- Requirements: For your comfort and safety, we recommend wearing waterproof boots (for added protection) or sneakers, along with comfortable clothing. This will allow you to move around easily during the visit.
